Snowy 2.0 is one of Australia’s most ambitious renewable energy initiatives, expanding the original Snowy Scheme to provide 2,000 megawatts of fast-start, dispatchable energy. As part of the broader enabling works, FGJV engaged PHE Group to deliver the full electrical installation for two remote accommodation camps – Tantangara and Marica.
These camps were essential for housing hundreds of workers during the multi-year construction phase of Snowy 2.0. Located in alpine terrain, the project required meticulous planning and rapid execution across varied site conditions. PHE's ability to mobilise efficiently, adapt to complex staging, and uphold high safety standards was central to maintaining program momentum and supporting worker welfare.
