In September, PHE Group earned three distinctions at the 2025 NECA SA/NT Excellence Awards, held at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The event brought together dignitaries, industry leaders, and political representatives to celebrate excellence across South Australia’s electrical sector.
Among the honours was the Perpetual Award – the judges’ top distinction for overall excellence. The recognition celebrates a culture of precision, partnership, and progress – qualities that continue to define PHE’s work across Australia’s energy and resources sectors.
Two projects defined this recognition: the Carrapateena Hydrofloat and Underground Crusher 2.0, each delivered in partnership with BHP. Together, these projects signal the next step in advancing future-facing minerals – positioning South Australia as a global leader in the production of copper that will power a cleaner, more connected world.
Awards received include:
- Industrial Large ($2M–$20M) for Carrapateena Mine Coarse Flotation (Hydrofloat)
- Industrial X-Large ($20M+) for Carrapateena Mine Underground Crusher 2.0
- Perputual Award for Carrapateena Mine Coarse Flotation (Hydrofloat)
These honours extend beyond outcomes achieved. They speak to the trust of our clients, the energy of our teams, and an industry moving forward together. As partners in progress, PHE remains committed to shaping the future of Australian industry – through collaboration, innovation, and a shared drive to deliver what’s next.
