Bago Sawmill Fire Reinstatement

On Boxing day 2017 a fire started in the workshop area of the local hardwood sawmill in Tumut, substantial damage was sustained to the building and machinery.

The bandsaw MCC was completely destroyed along with all of the drawings and documentation from 45 years of operation. PHE were able to reverse engineer a solution for existing machinery reworking the controls and managing the manufacturing of a replacement MCC to suit a different install location. As part of the Hardwood mill project all building light and power systems damaged by fire had to be replaced at the same time.

Special mention to Jack Luther for all of his efforts ensuring one of our local clients were able to re-commence manufacturing once again.
